Sightseeing Train - Rabat Tour WINTER

Enjoy panoramic views of Malta on Malta’s only trackless train service.

Our trackless train has three carriages and can carry up to 60 people.

Your journey, which will show you to some of the most magnificent views of Malta, will last approximately 30 minutes. It’s great fun for all the family! You start your trip at the Roman Villa just outside the gates of Mdina, head up to St. Dominic’s Priory and around the town of Rabat.

From there it is into the heart of Mtarfa village, with its panoramic views of most of Malta, past the old Railway Station and then through the bastions of Mdina before heading back to the terminus.

The journey is approximately 8km long and the train reaches a maximum speed of 25km/h.
